Authorize.net payment gateway down, Feb.24,2009
Popular payment gateway Authorize.net is currently not available when processing orders through Miva Merchant storefronts. It went down some time around 10pm EST on February 24th and is still down as of 9am PST Feb.25. Authorize.net has not given an ETA on when the problem may be resolved. Miva Merchant (the company) is in direct contact with Authorize.net to provide any necessary support or payment module modifications (if required).
In the meantime, if you are using Authorize.net as your payment gateway, we recommend switching to Simple Credit Card Validation option in your store, under Payment Configuration section, so you can continue accepting orders online. All these manually captured orders will need to be re-entered in your Authorize.net terminal when their gateway comes back online.
